human resources eNewsletter MARCH 2009 |
 |
This project was both fun and challenging. During my practicum with the Lethbridge College Web Services team, one of my projects was to work with the HR team in developing an eNewsletter. This newsletter would be distributed to staff and faculty at the college with various notices, important dates, and other imformation. I created in depth documentation for the HR team to use a quick reference. I created the masthead and other design elements in Photoshop, and made sure the widths and heights were specific for fitting in the template on Oempro correctly.

South Africa feature ad FEBRUARY 2009 |
 |
The Lethbridge College website has a location on their homepage for feature ads of various college organizations and events. This specific advertisement entails that LC is part of the water and sanitation efforts being made in South Africa. It's important that viewers of the college website get a chance to look at this because many do not know that LC faculty members have been making great efforts for the cause.

travel brochure MARCH 2008 |
  |
This was one of my favourite assignments working with Adobe InDesign. This project was overwhelming to begin with because InDesign is such a powerful program, which I found intimidating when I was first introduced to the program. I quickly began finding many cool features with the program, and soon found myself designing an awesome brochure. With the use of guides, colour, lines, images, and text (kerning and leading) this assignment came together nicely. I used Photoshop to edit and resize pictures.

Christmas newsleter NOVEMBER 2007 |

I created a pamphlet style print design for the Cut Knife United Church December Newsletter. I started out by using a template from Adobe, and then worked my way through with a distinct colour scheme. The images are from Microsoft Word’s clipart gallery.

perspective FEBRUARY 2008 |
 |
Perspective was an assignment from DES 156 in semester two. I started out by creating a straight line wherever I wanted my horizon to be. From there I created various buildings of shape and size, and later added windows and colour.
